Teens Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Classes in Sydney
A dedicated program for teenagers aged 13-17 that bridges kids and adult training. Challenging technique, real self-defence, and a positive peer group — all coached by a team that has produced over 10 world champions.
The Most Important Years to Train
The teenage years are when habits, identity, and peer groups are formed. Jiu jitsu gives teenagers something most activities can't — a positive tribe, genuine confidence built through real challenge, and the discipline that comes from pursuing mastery.
Our teens program bridges the gap between kids and adult training with age-appropriate intensity, advanced technique development, and a clear pathway to competition for those who want it.
While other teenagers are scrolling screens, yours will be building skills that last a lifetime — under the guidance of coaches who have produced over 10 world champions.
What Jiu Jitsu Gives Teenagers
Real Confidence
Not motivational poster confidence — the kind that comes from knowing you can handle yourself physically and mentally under pressure. Earned through genuine challenge and achievement.
Anti-Bullying Skills
Practical self-defence that works. BJJ teaches teens to control situations without striking — de-escalation through skill. The confidence alone often prevents confrontation.
Positive Peer Group
A team of like-minded teens who push each other to improve. Training partners become genuine friends. Better than screen time. Better than most alternatives available to teenagers.
Mental Toughness
Every roll is a problem to solve under pressure. Jiu jitsu builds the kind of mental resilience that carries into exams, social situations, and every challenge life throws at a teenager.
Healthy Outlet
Teenage energy needs somewhere constructive to go. BJJ provides an intense physical and mental workout that leaves teens feeling accomplished, not just tired.
Competition Pathway
For driven teens, a clear path from local competitions to national and international events with full coaching support from world champion-level coaches.
